How To Disable Reverse Operation of A Motor By Delta VFD

In this lesson, we will discuss about how can we disable reverse operation of a motor by delta VFD. So the next parameter of delta vfd that we will be discussing here is reverse motor disable. We can also disable the reverse operation of the motor, in the situation when we do not want motor to run reverse. This can be on the situation when your motor is converted to the conveyor and  you are transferring the material from one place to another, and you do not want the reverse motion of the material.

In that case, we can disable the reverse motion of the motor.  In delta VFD, we have a parameter of disable reverse command, which is parameter number 24 which says, reverse operation inhibition. There are two options you can use in this reverse disable parameter,

1. "00" is enable reverse operation.
2. "01" is disable reverse operation.

When you will set "00" to parameter 24, this will enable reverse operation. If you want to disable reverse operation of the motor, you should set "01" to parameter number 24. This is how you can stop/disable reverse operation of the motor by using delta VFD.
